Our First Turkey Trot Event

Many thanks to the 169 participants who made our first KCAF Turkey Breast Trot successful! Business groups, families, and serious runners joined to support the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation in raising funds for mammograms for women and men with no insurance in Rockdale and Newton counties; provide wigs, hats, and scarves for Kim's Closet at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital; and funds for scholarships for Rockdale and Newton students interested in a healthcare career. The cool weather, warm sunshine and energetic participants made the morning fun for all. Congratulations to all runners! You were all winners!

The Reason KCAF Exists

Kimberley Chance Atkins actively fulfilled many roles during her short time on earth. She was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a teacher and so much more. She displayed a level of generosity, love, and dedication few people get to experience. Kim was the kind of person you wanted to be around. The Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation started as a way to preserve our memory of Kim.
